Total house rebuild and refurbishment, planning was given with the caveat that the front of the property remained. The new owner has built a large extension to the rear to create a 380m2 4 bed house which incorporated some new and interesting ideas by Be Green on renewable integration:
Danfoss18KW Air source heat pump
Under-floor heating throughout, designed to work at low temperatures
Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery (designed for cooling)
Whole house comfort cooling.
The extracted air from the MVHR has been designed to leave the house directly behind the ASHP, this relatively warm air will increase the heat pumps efficiencies in winter.
